Buildium true-cost calculator
Estimate annual Buildium cost using the public starting subscription price plus published EFT, eSignature, bank-account setup, screening and remote-check fees. This is a starting-price scenario, not a quote for your portfolio; confirm the subscription price for your unit count with Buildium.
What is included
- Public starting subscription for Essential, Growth or Premium.
- Incoming and outgoing EFT using Buildium’s published plan fees.
- eSignature fees by plan.
- Business bank-account setup fees.
- Standard tenant screening at $17 when modeled.
- Remote check printing at $1.50 per check plus a one-time $30 setup fee when checks are used.
What is not included

How this estimate works
The calculator separates the recurring subscription from usage-based fees so you can see which part of annual cost is predictable and which part depends on your operating volume. Enter your expected monthly EFT activity, annual eSignature volume and other published fee categories rather than assuming the plan price is the full cost.
The result is a planning estimate, not a quote. Buildium can change pricing, bundle features differently by plan, apply promotions, or price some services based on account configuration. Before purchasing, compare the calculator result with the current Buildium pricing page and the terms provided for your specific account.
What to compare beyond price
- Owner accounting and reporting requirements
- How many staff users need role-based access
- Whether payment fees are absorbed by you or passed through
- Expected lease and eSignature volume
- API, integration or advanced reporting needs
- The portfolio size you expect to manage 12–24 months from now
